Hi There,
Welcome to POM blogs! I am a REALTOR and a real estate Broker in the Dallas Metroplex area. I have lived in the North Dallas area on and off for more than 30 years. I have migrated to both east and west coasts in the past but I keep coming back to Dallas mainly because most of family and friends live here and secondly because I love the people and the southern hospitality you won't find anywhere else, not to mention the relatively low cost of living and no State income tax. I currently live in Plano, just north of Dallas.
I got into real estate in 2005, after making a drastic and life changing decision to leave the high pressured corporate world and start my own business. Even though I left that world behind, I bring all of the professional traits I acquired and practiced with me into my real estate business. An asset that has helped me gain respect and a solid reputation with my clients and in my business.
As a REALTOR, I am very involved with my community, I help many charities, especially the ones that help children and animals. I am a member of the Dallas Metrotex Association of Realtors Community Outreach Committee and donate time and money to many good causes locally and nationally.
I work with both buyers and sellers and understand both sides of the equation. Most of my business comes from a fairly even split of referrals and internet leads. Having a technology background has given me an edge over my competition on how I market my client's listings and how I communicate and provide service to my buyers.
I started this blog earlier this year. My goal is to bring interesting and useful local and real estate news to my readers.
