You Don’t Even Need an APP for That!
Nowadays with smart phones, there are so many apps to help us with our day to day life activities and instant access to information and how we do things. There are unlimited apps we can have access to but most people use a limited number of what’s available on their smart phone. Well, I just read a very interesting article in the REALTOR Magazine regarding some of the uses for the cameras in our smart phones that could come really handy. I really liked it so I am sharing them with you here.
Periscope – Cant’ see what’s on the top shelf? Or what’s behind the washing machine or other tight spots you can’t visually access. Reach up, down or in between and snap a picture.
Instructional Diagram – If you have to disassemble and re-assemble anything, take pictures of it so you will have a diagram to follow when putting it back together. Let’s say you want to move your PC, before unplugging all cords, take a picture.
Mirror – Next time you are without a mirror and want to check yourself for spinach in your teeth, turn your camera on yourself and smile.
Breadcrumbs – Whether hiking, shopping in an unfamiliar mall, or visiting a new city, you can take pictures along the way to find your way back. You can also take photos of bus routes, subway maps, stadium, mall, and museum diagrams for quick reference to get where you want to go.
Tech Help – If your computer freezes, but not before one last gasp…take a picture of the error message on your screen so you can send it to your tech help for a head start on their troubleshooting efforts.
Document Scanner - Need to copy information but don’t have a scanner handy? Take a photo. Or capture notes from whiteboards and flip charts…I think you get the idea.
Shopping assistant – Before shopping, take pictures so you can zero in on the right items. Snap a photo of the colorant formula on your paint can label, take a picture of the recipe, or photograph the jack on the back of the TV. You can also snap pictures at the store and text them to someone else to make sure you are buying the right stuff.
